Even if Keeby cared about that at the time, he could just not care anymore...

Friendly reminder that things about Keeby aren't that simple, or else I wouldn't need a whole chapter to talk about him.

This is getting a lot more complicated.

This is basically Finding Dory except with personalities that make a lot more sense

Why didn't Keeby go on other adventures then?

So Keeby literally told Kirby to go without him if that happened. Therefore, what happened in Dual Destinies should not have been related to this at all.

@Fighter Dee:

You will see later, but basically:
- Most of Kirby's other adventures weren't planned
- Keeby had a memory breakdown basically all the time Kirby was heading off to start one

He did only say that Kirby did it, he didn't say he didn't mind. So his inner hate for not being involved started to grow from there.

@Gigi19972010: Y'know what, okay. There most likely is more to this than I or anyone else is seeing right now. I can accept that.
However, I have a semi-related question. I did a little re-reading of previous pages and noticed something strange in page 1 of From Time to Time. It seems from the context that Keeby had told Kirsy about this resentment he'd been feeling towards Kirby, and she had encouraged him to tell Kirby about them. This is further proven by page 50 of Dual Destinies where Kirsy thinks "I never thought Keeby would reach this level". Does Kirsy just know more than she's letting on? And if so, what reason does she have to hold that information back if she's the one who called this meeting in the first place? Or am I just completely wrong here?

@Nashew:

It's more like Kirsy knew Keeby was a bit upset about all the "Kirby goes do something without him", but when Keeby did the ragequit in Dual Destinies, she realized that she didn't know all of it (from what she knew at the time, it looked odd, that's what the "I never thought Keeby would reach this level" line is supposed to mean. Maybe these weren't the best words). That's why she cared about the whole situation, and took the lead to create this meeting.

In other words, she knew Keeby was upset (more than Kirby did), but her knowledge of the subject wasn't enough to fully explain his actions, so she had the idea to organize this meeting they are having right now.

@Gigi19972010: Okay... Understandable.

I guess I'll just have to keep reading to figure out what the heck is going on with Keeby then. I'll reserve further judgement until the end of the chapter, but I might actually have some proper thoughts then, unlike every other chapter. I guess we'll see.
